Located on Second Street, just off of the town square in Jackson Georgia, Jackson Veterinary Clinic has been a staple in the community since its inception in 1981. While the outer façade of the building blends with the turn of the century homes surrounding the square, inside the clinic is filled with the most modern veterinary laboratory equipment such as digital X-rays, ultrasound machines, in -house blood and urine analyzers, a surgical suite, a dedicated ICU ward and much more!

We are constantly upgrading our equipment to more conveniently and efficiently serve you and your beloved pet! Continuing education is attended by all staff members and some even have specific areas of expertise. Everyone on staff is committed to providing exemplary service to our clients and patients. We serve the Jackson area as well as many patients from McDonough, Griffin, Forsyth, Monticello and Covington. We even have clients who have moved to Atlanta over an hour away that still come to us for the care of their pets! We hope that you and your fur family will join our family at Jackson Veterinary Clinic for all of your veterinary needs.

Dr. Alan Burdette

Dr. Alan Burdette, a graduate of the University of Georgia, has been helping the community and surrounding areas since 1981. His passion for his work can be seen in his unwavering kindness that he shows the furry members of your family. He strives to make himself available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty-five days a year. That is unless he is off watching his children play tennis, sneaking out to watch a Bulldogs game with family. Or just simply taking a well deserved vacation. Since he was a teenager he has had a hand in caring for animals. He often states that he doesn’t ask his employees to do anything that he hasn’t done himself. And he is telling the truth. From groomer to kennel worker, he has done everything in between, and is constantly learning more than what the state requires in continuing education classes. He thrives on learning all the newest techniques in caring for the animals.

Comments from the staff: “Dr. Alan Burdette, the greatest vet to ever look at an animal (according to all those that work with him). Not to mention an awesome boss. You have never run across a more caring & patient man. Jackson Veterinary Clinic is the greatest place to work because of our “Dr. B”.
